Oktoberfest und City-Market
Am Samstag Abend gab es hier in Bangalore ein Oktoberfest… Laeuft natuerlich ein wenig anders ab, als in Muenchen 
Erstmal haben Michael und ich uns im Goethe-Institut einen Film-Workshop angeschaut, gezeigt wurden viele vorallem neuere Deutsche Filme (bekannt davon: Good Bye Lenin, Der Untergang). Von dort aus sind wir dann mit Steffi (der Praktikantin im Goethe-Institut), der Cheffin des Instituts, und einigen anderen (insgesamt 6 Leute) in ein 5-Sterne-Hotel gefahren. Die Cheffin hat dann erstmal versucht noch weitere Freikarten zu besorgen (sie hatte eine fuer sich und eine weitere Person), regulaer kostet das Oktoberfest naemlich 2000rs (ca. 30eur) Рdas hat geklappt, denn einer aus dem Organisationskommitee hat zufaelligerweise mal fuer das Goethe-Institut gearbeitet 
Drinnen gabs dann Buffet mit vieeelen leckeren Sachen, Freiber (Kingfisher…), eine deutsche Blaskapelle, Bierbaenke und “Bayern-Dekoration” – was halt so dazu gehoert 
Den Anstich hat hier der Generalkonsul vorgenommen und nach mehr als einer Stunde traditioneller Blasmusik wurde dann auf Rock-Klassiker umgeschwenkt. Hier darf man sogar auf den Tischen tanzen, das bekommt denen allerdings nicht so gut – stoert aber auch keinen.
Am Sonntag haben wir zu dritt wieder einen Ausflug in die Stadt gemacht und uns den City-Market angeschaut, dort wird jede Menge Obst, Blumenschmuck, Reis, Gemuese und anderes Zeug (eigentlich alles) verkauft und es ist wahnsinnig voll. Hungrig sind wir dann in der Stadt im zweithoechsten Gebaeude in einem¬†sehr leckeren¬†Restauant namens Ebony¬†essen gewesen und haben das Panorama genossen. Danach ist Steffi mit einer Freundin shoppen gegangen und Michael und ich schonmal ins Kaffee- bzw. Teehaus Infinitea¬†vorgegangen. Die beiden sind spaeter nachgekommen und dort haben wir einen Ausflug fuers naechste Wochenende geplant… Es wird spannend
