Am vergangenen Freitag habe ich mich mit Michael (von SAP) und Dagmar (auch Praktikantin bei der deutsch-indischen Handelskammer) im HardRockCafe getroffen. Dort fuehlt man sich fast wie in jedem anderen HardRockCafe, nur die Musik ist deutlich lauter – Indien ist einfach ein lautes Land 
Nachdem wir dort was gegessen hatten, haben wir uns mit Micha (von der Handelskammer) und Steffi (vom Goethe-Institut) getroffen und sind gegen viertel vor 12 mit dem Taxi (gleicher Toyota Gelaendewagen und Fahrer wie nach Pondicherry) nach Ooty gefahren.  Mitten in der Nacht mussten wir einen laengeren Stop einlegen, da Ooty von einem Nationalpark umgeben ist, den man nur Tagsueber durchfahren darf Рmorgens waren wir dann in Ooty.
Nachdem wir im “Reflections Guesthouse”¬†(Tipp) unsere Zimmer bezogen und gefruehstueckt haben, sind wir erstmal zu Fuss unterwegs gewesen… Wir haben eine kleine Rudertour auf einem See gemacht und dann das Staedtchen erkundet. Nach dem Mittagessen haben wir uns Motorraeder und Roller ausgeliehen und uns die weitere Umgebung angeschaut.
Am Sonntag haben wir uns dann nochmal Motorraeder und Roller ausgeliehen und sind noch weiter in der Gegend herumgefahren. Irgendwann sind wir an einer Prozession zu irgendeinem Festtag vorbeigekommen,  die Inder waren total gut gelaunt, haben uns fast alle die Hand geschuettelt, laute Musik gemacht und wollten unbedingt mit uns tanzen 
Abends haben wir uns gegen 6Uhr schon auf den Heimweg gemacht, um rechtzeitig durch den Nationalpark zu kommen. Dort haben wir im dunkeln noch einen Elefanten am Strassenrand gesehen
